BİYAŞAM Training Series: Applied Gene Transfer Training in Eukaryotic Systems Successfully Conducted
The "Applied Gene Transfer Training in Eukaryotic Systems," organized by TÜSEB Türkiye Biotechnology Institute, commenced with theoretical sessions delivered by Dr. Serkan YAMAN, a researcher at Türkiye Biotechnology Institute, and the institute's staff. The two-day program concluded with practical demonstrations covering various transfection methods in eukaryotic cells, calculation of transfection efficiency, virus production and purification, viral transduction, as well as viral transduction efficiency and titration calculation stages.
Attended by undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and postdoctoral researchers, the training provided participants with hands-on experience. Under the guidance of the institute’s expert personnel, participants successfully performed transfection, transduction, purification, and titration calculation procedures.
