BİYAŞAM Training Series: Applied Cell Culture Training Successfully Conducted
The "Applied Cell Culture Training," organized as part of the BİYAŞAM Training Series by TÜSEB Türkiye Biotechnology Institute, took place on October 22, 2024.
The training commenced with opening remarks from Prof. Dr. Fatma Duygu Özel Demiralp, Head of TÜSEB Türkiye Biotechnology Institute, and Prof. Dr. Ateş Kara, Head of Türkiye Vaccine Institute. The program was attended by both undergraduate and graduate students.
Starting with theoretical sessions delivered by the institute’s researchers, the training provided participants with the opportunity to perform cell culture procedures under the expert guidance of institute personnel. The comprehensive program, which included thawing and seeding cell stocks, subculturing (passaging), cell counting, and cryopreservation (cell freezing), concluded with the presentation of certificates of participation.
